Abstract
When we approached to literary education we need to cover a historic hole about the birth of criticism and its facilitating and disseminator role. And as nowadays we talk of a globalized society, we can not think about that function of criticism in Spain without analysing also appeared in other countries, mainly England and France. Since its birth in the new area of Public Square in 17 th. century until its blurring in the “Market without more” will be a key player in general education and literary education in particular.
