The transmision of values in literature from oral tradition to the current LIJ

Abstract
As Calvino said, literature is an instrument for society’s self-consciousness, but at the same time, literature transfers some values. From the oral traditional literature up to nowadays literature, some ideas and values have been shaping the reader’s education. For that reason, the work of mediators is very important in order to promote critical thought and ethical consciousness.
