Hand in hand with Cervantes: modern reading of classics
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper defines the educational innovation of reading skill based on interdisciplinarity against academicism of disciplinary teaching; it claims epistemological intervention of imagination and meaning in re-contextualizing communicative actions with the methodology of intertextual reading to update the treatment of classics in creative and critical readings of hyper-textual projection in the classroom, and reveals that its semiotic Krausist-romantic genealogy on the classic modernity because of its survival over time comes from the recognition of Don Quixote as the first modern novel in the world by providing the reader its endless reinvention.
