A necessary good for writing: the orthographic competence

Abstract
The present article makes an attempt to embrace an exploration about the orthographic matter, not just nowadays but setting the starting point in the first documents that claimed its importance for the precise understanding by the word and the paper. Moreover, it revises the proposal made by such important writers as García Márquez or Juan Ramón Jiménez. Also, there is an analysis of some representative examples extracted from textbooks in order to verify in which degree the rules provided by the law and the Academy are implemented in the classroom. Finally, these pages include references and reflection on the theories and studies made by researchers on this topic, as they are expert voices that is necessity to attend to.
