Pop Young poetry: themes, formal characteristics and strategies to reach young readers

Abstract
It is said that poetry is a minority genre; however, lately, we are seeing how certain poetry books aimed at a young audience are reaching high levels of sales. In this article, the proximity of young readers to the so-called "young poets" has been confirmed from 56 people, where 90% of those surveyed are less than thirty years old. Next, we analyze what new habits of reading and what thematic and formal characteristics of these verses favor the demographic of readers between 19 and 29 years old with authors such as Marwan, Carlos Salem, Diego Ojeda and Luis Ramiro
