Abstract
In this article we present a literary research method in three phases for the study of the presence of children's folklore in literary works named ‘Three-phase model for the study of Children´s Folklore in Literature’, taking into account the previous ideas of Alan Dundes (1965), Maxime Chevalier (1987), Neil Grobman (1979) and Montserrat Amores (1993). In the first phase, identification (collection and collation of data) we would particularly like to emphasize the usefulness of informants as necessary collaborators. In the second phase of our model, analytical phase, we have adopted the Repertory Grid Technique from Psychology to create a new tool for literary research named Analytical Grid. Its application will allow us to carry out a detailed analysis, both quantitative and qualitativeof the samples of children's folklore found in literary works. Finally, in the interpretation phase, we suggest the combination of three different literary theories (Transtextuality, Biographical Method and Psychoanalytic Theories) to reflect on the issue and draw conclusions.
